Elizabeth Mary Schofield-Carr-Knoke, 71

Elizabeth Mary Schofield-Carr-Knoke, "Nana," went to be with her Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ, at her home in Post Falls, Idaho, on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015.

Liz was born May 23, 1943, in Reno, Nev., to Gladys and Edward Schofield. She cherished her parents and her love for them was undying.

Liz married the love of her life, Larry Knoke, on Feb. 3, 1990.

Liz worked at Montgomery Ward and Sears, and was an honest, award winning sales associate for 18 years. She won numerous national gold awards for highest sales.

Liz was grounded in her Catholic faith and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Nana enjoyed her grandchildren, her children and her puppy, Lilly Grace. She loved Christmas and giving without receiving. Her most favorite times were getting together with her extended family, laughing, and sharing stories. She enjoyed her hot fudge sundaes with her husband and Lilly.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Ernie; and her infant daughter Terry Elizabeth Carr.

Liz is survived by her husband Larry; and her children: daughter Kathy (Jerry) Moreau of Hayden, Idaho, son Matthew (Katherine) Carr of Atlanta, Ga., son Rick Knoke of Rathdrum, Idaho, daughter Tracy (Jimmy) Lagomarsino of Post Falls, Idaho, and daughter Toni (Ken) Logan of Seattle, Wash. She has many grandchildren: Danielle (Rob Kisler), Brianne, Michaela, Owen, Marshall, Merritt, Kevin, Johnny (Jayme), Brandon, Cydney, and Lainey. She was known as Nana to Luke, Elizabeth, Christopher, Eddie, Simiah, and countless others. She will also be missed by her extended family and several dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, Idaho.

Donations may be made in memory of Liz to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
