PATRIOTS: Take air out of debate

I am writing as a requirement for the communications merit badge in Boy Scouts. I have decided to write on the New England Patriots Deflategate controversy.

I think it was all a setup or a fake. Anybody can post on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. I think it was a post on a social media website that started a rumor about the deflated footballs.

It easily could have spread far enough to reach the big sports stations, like ESPN, Sports Center, Fox Sports, etc. Either that or the sports stations made it up themselves. I mean, think about it, they are very persuasive. This then was announced on the day after the game and started multiple press conferences and arguments about the footballs.
