FUNDRAISER: Great sponsors, community

A giant thank you to the community from Habitat for Humanity!

Having just completed our annual "Hearts for Homes" fundraiser, we at Habitat for Humanity wish to express our deep gratitude to our sponsors and this wonderful community. We run a risk in naming names because we'll probably overlook somebody but we feel we owe so much to so many wonderful people that we have to a least try put into words how grateful we are.

* Coeur Products

Silver Sponsors

* Coeur d'Alene Builders Supply

AAID: Support for healthy pet population

How do we love thee? Let us count the ways...

Repeatedly, Petco people have shown their love for AAID and we love them right back! The Petco Foundation just donated $2,666 to help AAID continue preventing future homeless pets. The letter accompanying this new donation cites AAID's work "on behalf of pets and the people who love and need them" which of course, means YOU and many more in our community.

This donation is the result of Petco's recent Tree of Hope in-store fundraising campaign across the nation and even more directly, the support of the Coeur d'Alene Petco store associates and their shoppers. So please thank the staff of our local Petco store for their passion in making this wonderful donation to our high quality, low fee spay and neuter clinic possible.

QUILTS: These crafty ladies all have Valor!

On behalf of Quilt of Valor Foundation, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the ladies that participated in the National Quilt of Valor sew day and also a huge thank you to St. George Catholic Church in Post Falls for the use of their facilities. We had great fun and worked hard toward piecing 19 Quilt Tops. Hooray! Already planning for next year!
