Wild Game Feast returns Feb. 21

| February 14, 2015 8:00 PM

The Wild Game Feast is back. Fernan Elementary principal Bill Rutherford, a former food service director at North Idaho College, created the event as a means to raise funds for scholarships for NIC students.

NIC hasn't hosted the event for several years, so Rutherford is bringing it back as a fundraiser to support STEM learning at Fernan. STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering and math.

The feast will return on Feb. 21 at Avondale Golf Course in Hayden. Tickets are $75, of which $37 is tax deductible.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with appetizers served until 7:30.

Silent auction items will be available to bid on including box seats at the Spokane Arena for 30 for Cirque de Soleil including food and beverages, a night bowling party at a private estate including food and beverages, and a private dinner for six provided by Rutherford.

Each meal includes one glass of wine, with a full no-host bar available.

For tickets, call 664-2653 or email fernanstempta@gmail.com.
