Joetta M. Batt, 83

On Feb. 11, 2015, at the age of 83, Joetta Marguerite Batt followed the love of her life, Seth Grant Batt, into the Light of Heaven just 20 days after Seth. They were married 55 years.

Maggie,as she was fondly called, was born Sept. 21, 1931, to Louise and "Frenchie" Winans in Emmett, Idaho.

Maggie was a devoted wife and mother, always tending to Seth and her children Steven, Catharine, Timothy, Leon, Rachel, and Mary. She followed Seth wherever his work took him - Nevada, Idaho, Washington, and even Alaska!

Maggie enjoyed crocheting, and made many blankets and scarfs for friends and family. She loved to 'out fish' Seth every chance she could!

Maggie is survived by six children: Steven Batt, Catharine Zabel, Timothy Batt, Leon Batt, Rachel Townsend, and Mary Batt; her brother Dennis Winans; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2293 W. Hanley Ave., Coeur d'Alene.
