Why not? Do you want to feel better? Have more energy? For many of us, our question is how?

A goal can be anything from being able to walk around the block, ride a bike or run a half marathon, the process is still the same. It takes time, discipline and training but it is doable.

Some of you may be saying, "but I have tried everything." Have you truly tried everything, and did you stick with it? Strong and steady wins the race every time. You must decide if you are ready to make the commitment, and then you need to stick to your plan. Find people and professionals that can help you on your journey by providing assistance and direction based on their experience and results.

For many Americans chronic, dull, nagging back pain stops them from accomplishing their goals and enjoying life. But it doesn't have to. Chiropractic is often misunderstood and feared by many, but it doesn't have to be and shouldn't be. We want to help you by providing a realistic and specific plan that is achievable. We take into consideration all forms of treatment and want to provide the best results, so that you can reach your health goal in the shortest amount of time.

What is your health goal? Have you even thought about it before? Many of us spend more time thinking about where we are going on vacation than where we are going in life, and how we want to have the endurance to run the race.

We want to hear about your health goals and get excited with you. Most of the individuals we work with all too often have some repetitive pattern in their life, either at home or work. Many work at a computer or desk all day, parent young children, or are athletes - golfers, runners and cyclists. These activities put stress on the spine daily, and the effects build up over time.

In my 16 years of practice, I find more individuals have structural changes to their spine from these activities that from many traumas like slips and falls. Why, you may ask? When we have an instant, sudden trauma, the body can react and repair the tissues and joints more quickly versus continual repetitive trauma. Poor posture and improper lifting puts continual irritation on the tissues and joints limiting the body's ability to fully recover, thus leading to the chronic, dull, nagging pain we learn to live with.

Have you thought about investing some time and resources to improve chronic poor posture? It can be simple and worth the effort. We will provide treatment necessary to improve mobility and function of the spine, and provide instruction on specific rehab exercises that will teach you how to engage weak muscle patterns, allowing for healthier posture. This will not only help you feel better, but it will give you the energy you need to achieve your health goal for the year.
