Oakley Willman Brekke, 87

Oakley Willman Brekke, 87, passed away January 28th 2015 at life care center of Post Falls, ID. He was born November 22 1927 in Tagus N Dak to Clarence O Brekke and Ingaborg (Willman) Brekke.

Oakley grew up on a farm north of Tagus N Dak. He came to Coeur d'Alene ID in 1956, and married Miriam Harrington in 1960. They had there only child, Tami (Darrell) Schlender. Miriam had 2 children from a previous marriage, Son Glen Harrington and Daughter Teena Harrington. Oakley and Miriam later divorced.

He worked at the old potlatch mill and later at Kaiser trentwood.

Oakley was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence O Brekke and Ingaborg (Willman) Brekke, brother Norris, sister Arlys, stepmother Dorthy, and halfsister Avis. He is survived by daughter Tami (Darrell) Schlender, Grandchildren Kari (James) Miller, Sean Schlender, great grandchildren Jazmine, Siena and Rylan Miller, stepchildren Glen Harrington, Teena Harrington, all of CDA ID. Brother Clarence D Brekke (Barbara) of Minot N Dak, Their children, Christine and Eddie Scott and their daughter Kayleen, Patricia and Jeff Podolski, Sons Aramand Brock and Kathleen Brekke all of Denver Colorado.
