THEFT: Merry Christmas, indeed

I have lived in the Fieldstone Subdivision in Post Falls for almost six years. I have never had any problems and have found it to be a nice place to live. I was saddened this past summer when someone came right onto my front porch and took a large solar lantern that had been there for several years. Now my lighted Christmas candy canes along with the extensions cords have been taken.

Shame on you — you are coming onto my property, onto the walkway and the front porch to take something that is not yours. I hope that these things were of such importance in your life that they made stealing an acceptable thing in your eyes. In the spirit of the Season, I wish you Merry Christmas and hope that you enjoy looking at the Candy Canes as much as my great grandchildren did.

JESUS is the Reason for the Season.
