BIKINIS: I won't drink to that

| December 2, 2015 8:00 PM

Thanksgiving day as we were delivering dinners for those that were unable to go out or had no meal, my wife and I stopped for a hot latte through a local espresso stand. I won’t mention the name or location as it's not our sincere intent to be condescending nor advertise. As their facility had no cars at it and the one across the street had five cars on each side of the window, we chose to patronize the slower one since we’d never been there before.

Wasn’t prepared for what we encountered. Two young ladies, and I do believe they are ladies, dressed in skimpy bikinis bending over asking what we’d like. Did anyone mention it was 32 degrees? Mr. owner, manager, young ladies; it was embarrassing and unnecessary. Point in case: Your competitor across the street was knee deep in business and understand now why you had none.

Truly would like to see you be successful as I was in that business years ago, but you don’t have to sell a pound of flesh or a 12 ounce cup of coffee to make a mark in the community. Just look across the street as your example and if you’re willing to take the higher grounds (pardon my pun) we and I’m quite sure others, will be your best customers.
