TRAFFIC: Time for friendly debate

Traffic control or lack thereof is apparently a hotter topic than I realized when I responded to Douglas Weir’s My Turn article about doing away with traffic controls. For Ms. Zimmerman’s benefit, I have lived in Idaho since 1954. In 1973-76 I lived in Post Falls when one traffic light was adequate for a small sawmill town of 2,371 residents.
Instead of starting a hate mail campaign in the editorial pages of The Press, I would enjoy a face to face discussion with Ms. Zimmerman to discuss the pros and cons of traffic control with input and a moderator from one of our local law enforcement agencies and a reporter from The Press.
