Sharon S. Read, 64

May 29, 1951 - Aug. 18, 2015

Sharon passed away Aug. 18, 2015, in Post Falls, Idaho, after a short bout with leukemia. She went to high school in Sacramento, Calif.

Sharon worked 14 years in the grocery business, working for Albertsons in Idaho and other grocery chains in Sacramento. She married Leonard "Corky" Read in 2008. After they moved to Idaho in 2006, Sharon loved the hobby of buying and selling jewelry.

When she was raising Ryan, they traveled all over the United States with Ryan's baseball tournaments. Sharon loved her sports, and was an avid Facebook contributor.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard "Corky" Read; son Ryan; daughter Amanda; granddaughter Sara and her parents, Bob and Sue Sternes of Woodland, Calif.

English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, has been entrusted with the final arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, with a reception to follow at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls.
