Renee Marie (Riegert) Cook, 42

Renee passed away on July 5, 2015. She was born November 26, 1972, in Lakewood, Calif., to parents Carl Riegert III and Judy (Ballou). After her mother remarried Dewey Berndt, the family moved to Post Falls, Idaho, in 1979 where Renee graduated high school with the honor of being a Troubadour in 1990.

Renee was well known as a "Glitter Princess." She loved the color pink and anything that sparkled. She loved to be the center of attention. She enjoyed entertaining, traveling, camping and more than anything she loved to be with her family and friends. She loved being a wife and mother. She could light up any room with her smile.

Renee is survived by her husband, Bob, and her two daughters, Allison, 10, and Brooklyn, 8; both of her dads, Carl and Dewey; brothers Carl Riegert IV, Post Falls, Idaho; and Mike (Michelle) Berndt, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind many enduring friendships. Renee is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Marie Berndt and all of her grandparents.

She will be deeply missed by many whose lives she touched.
