OBIT: This one's for our nation

| August 5, 2015 9:56 PM

June 26, 2015 America died! A sad day indeed!

On that day the Supreme Court decided it was going to take over God’s job. Well, I got news for them, no six black-robed unelected self-proclaimed gods can take the authority of God away.

Why would I say such a thing? Because I believe it’s true.

God has been warning the world for thousands of years to repent, straighten up and pay attention to His precepts or judgment would be coming. God is a patient God, giving man plenty of time and plenty of rope to hang himself if he so desires. But there is a time when He will say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! God knew this day would come. Why? Only because He saw the beginning from the end, not because he predestined anyone or anything. Man has always had a free will.

That’s one of the mysteries of God. He did not want a world of robots to manipulate or He would have made us that way. No, He wanted the opportunity to show us love, compassion, kindness and grace, and to see if we would catch on and follow His lead. It is no different today than when God brought Israel out of Egypt with mighty signs and wonders, yet, within a few short months they turned their back on God. Complaining, bickering, chasing after false gods, worshiping the moon and stars and man made Idols and doing every sinful thing that he said “do not do” And we are still doing it today and more brazenly as time passes.

Well the day of reckoning is very close at hand. Every prophesy has been completed that would stand in the way of Jesus’s return.

When you see the president of the USA proudly proclaiming how wonderful it is for homosexuals to be able to legally marry, flooding the White House with rainbow colors to celebrate this abomination, (God’s words) judgment is not far behind. God created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. If it was Adam and Steve there would not be a person on earth today. Yet man is stiff necked and defiant, mocking God and all who stand with Him.

Some say “why would a loving God send good people to hell?” He doesn’t — they send themselves there. Remember what I said earlier, man has free will. We have a choice, Heaven or Hell. Choose this day whom you will serve!
