Louise Cantrell Rayner, 89

Louise Cantrell Rayner, 89, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away on March 30, 2015 at Hospice House of North Idaho with her family by her side.

Louise was born September 1, 1925 in East Haven, Connecticut to parents George and Ann Cantrell. She grew up in and around Glenbrook, CT and graduated from Stamford High School.

In 1946 she married Kenneth Rayner and together started a family. She devoted herself to being a wonderful mother to her two children. Later she developed an interest in painting and enjoyed that for years. She was a gentle spirit and a stabilizing influence and role model and was much loved by all who knew her.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth. Louise is survived by her son Gregg and daughter-in-law Charlene of Hayden, ID; daughter Cynthia Noye and son-in-law Kent Noye of Rathdrum, ID; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

At her request there will be no service. The family wishes to thank Hospice of North Idaho and Hospice House for the care and compassion they provided over the past year and a half as she battled cancer until her passing.

She will be laid to rest at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens.
