NESSE: Leads with compassion

| September 28, 2014 9:00 PM

In the 15 years that we have known Anne Nesse, we have observed her compassion for all. She has demonstrated enormous energy and dedication to understanding issues and to changing those policies which perpetuate unfairness. Anne brings passion and perseverance to her work. She has repeatedly shown the ability to listen to all sides of any issue, as well as pursue fiscally responsible solutions.

Anne is a former RN, teacher and businesswoman. This experience gives her a unique perspective to work on issues that beg for her expertise and attention. Anne understands that investing in preventative health saves money and that access to mental health care enables people to be productive members of society.

Anne Nesse understands that our minimal state support for public education is a travesty. She will work for a greater investment in education to support a workforce that will benefit our state for years to come.

Anne has worked tirelessly on a state-wide dialogue regarding our minimum wage. She understands that our current minimum wage does not support families, and that increasing the minimum wage is not only the humane choice, but will also benefit our economy.

Anne is running for a seat in the Idaho House of Representatives in District 4. She is poised to work hard for all of us on many important issues. Idaho needs Anne in the House of Representatives. Please vote for Anne Nesse on Nov. 4.
