SPIRIT LAKE - Senior running back Josh Lampert carried the ball 12 times for 148 yards and scored two touchdowns, including a 75-yard run in the first quarter, to boost the undefeated Tigers to a nonleague rout of the Greyhounds.

The Tigers' defense intercepted Pullman quarterback Mason Petrino, the son of University of Idaho coach Paul Petrino, four times. Timberlake (4-0) has outscored its opponents, 175-47, after beating Pullman (2-2).

Daniel Buck finished with 16 carries for 47 yards and two touchdowns for Timberlake.

"Our defense did a heck of a job," Timberlake coach Roy Albertson said. "We only gave up one touchdown and that was in the second half. We had some big plays on offense. Daniel Buck and Josh Lampert had big nights running the football. The offensive line did a good job. Austin Malloy made a big catch and made it all the way down to their 1-yard line. They had a hard time running the ball on us, except for their first drive, then we settled down. We had several interceptions."

Timberlake hosts Lakeland next Friday.

Kolar tacked on a 40-yard touchdown grab from quarterback Berry Allen of Lakeside (2-3, 2-1 WSL).

"Berry has a good arm," Kootenai coach Doug Napierala said. "Hunter Kolar has good speed, he was able to get behind us. Both teams ran the ball hard. We threw the one pick-six, fumbled away twice. If we have more ball security, it might have been a different game. Good things are happening, we just have to quit making mental errors. Both teams fought hard, Lakeside had a lot fewer miscues than we did."
