FAIR: Bothered by the beer

| September 21, 2014 9:00 PM

Am I the only one who had a major problem with the fair this year? Open containers of beer everywhere? Which led to an attempted rape and this on a cold year. Can you imagine if the temps had been in the 100s to 90s how much other awful, despicable problems would have occurred?

The open containers need to stop and all alcohol needs to be contained in the beer garden which should not be located next to the rides! The law enforcement/lost child booth needs to be back by the rides and the food court, as that is where the most problems occur. Having it clear in a back corner is problematic.

The vendor chair needs to be replaced with someone who is organized and not only concerned that the astronomical and unnecessary insurance has been obtained by each vendor. I know that she tried to sell the same inside vendor booth to 10 different vendors. And the disorganization of the booths was astronomical! They need to be grouped by commonalities, not wherever is expedient.

And why on Earth did the rides open so late? The expense associated with entering the fair and purchasing ride tickets only to find out less time is available is wrong. There needs to be major changes to the 2015 fair as none of the changes made this year were good ones.
