ARFEE: Don't forget Bridger

| September 10, 2014 9:40 PM

All summer long I have followed the articles about the death of Arfee. I have watched protest marches demanding that the Cd’A Police man be fired.

I also read about another dog that died, Bridger. Bridger was tortured and left to die in a drainage canal that he couldn’t get out of and was left to die a long slow and painful death by starvation and dehydration.

Why are there no protest marches demanding justice for poor Bridger? Why are there no demands that the monster who did this be put in jail? Is it that no one cared about poor Bridger during his life and Arfee was well loved? Why does one dogs death matter so much and the other is largely forgotten? In my mind Bridger’s death was the more horrific, he was deliberately tortured and left to die, Arfee died as the result of a horrific accident. It shouldn’t have happened but to demand that the Policeman be fired for this I think is uncalled for.

Bridger deserves justice too and the little monster who tortured him and left him to die should be held accountable.

When you think about Arfee remember Bridger too.
