| September 5, 2014 9:00 PM

Mary Louise Callahan went to be with her Lord, whom she loved and believed in so much. She passed away on Aug. 31, 2014, in Coeur d'Alene.

Mary was born on Aug. 25, 1926, in San Antonio, Texas. She was married to Alvin D. Johnson, they had six children born and raised in Glendive, Mont. Mary left Montana in 1963 and moved to Coeur d'Alene, where she met and married her second husband, Andrew Callahan.

Our mother did a lot of different things in her lifetime, but these were some of the highlights: She owned restaurants, loved to camp, listened and danced to music, played cards, loved to go to the casino. And she loved doing all these things with her family and friends. Her passion was praising her Lord.

Mary belonged to St. George Parish while she lived in Post Falls, Idaho. She made a lot of great, loyal friends there. She also attended St. Thomas and St. Pius parish and had many friends in Coeur d'Alene. Mary loved to be with family and friends, and enjoyed eating out at fast food places and restaurants.

Mary was preceded in death by first husband Alvin D. Johnson, second husband Andy Callahan (married 25 years), son Joseph (Joey) A. Johnson, granddaughter Theeme L. Moran, parents Sabino and Matilda Roque, brother Thomas Roque and sister Mary Agnes Aitken.

Marky is survived by her children, Tad Johnson (Dolores) of Coeur d'Alene, John Johnson (Geri) of Post Falls, Dale Johnson (Linda) of Post Falls, Mary Marshall (Dell) of Silverton, Idaho, and Betty Keough of Havre, Mont.; daughter-in-law, Paula Johnson of Post Falls; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; sister Lupe Kockendorfer of Glasgow, Mont.; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary will be missed and loved in our memories and in our hearts.

Rosary is at 9 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at St. George Catholic Church, 2010 N. Lucas St., Post Falls. Family and friends are invited for refreshments after services in the St. George community kitchen downstairs.
