STRANSKY: The voice of reason

It is time for new voices in our legislature. The old voices have given us mostly minimum wage jobs, tax breaks only for the wealthy, the overwhelmingly rejected “Luna laws,” guns on college campuses, school systems that are unable to hire needed new teachers and a health care system that is expensive and out of reach for many working people.

In District 2A we can replace an old voice, Vito Barbieri, with a sensible new voice, Cheryl Stransky, to challenge the old voices and give expression to those who want better jobs, schools and health care for all Idahoans.

One of our problems in Idaho is that a very small percentage of our people vote so the hard core and extremist Republicans control our government. Only if our people make the effort to register and then vote to replace the old voices can changes be made to improve the lives of the silent majority of our people. So, I want to see Idaho become a better plac! e. A vote for Cheryl Stransky can help that happen and repudiate the old voices. To give her a chance, the sixty percent of eligible voters in District 2A who are not registered, must register and vote. Collectively with those who are already registered, we can cast our ballots for Cheryl and make our voices heard in Boise. Only then is improvement possible. ACTION PLAN: take a friend by the hand on Election Day, go to your polling place and vote for Stransky.
