SHELTON: Show your support

This letter is to add my name to the letter that my fellow brothers signed and submitted that printed on Tuesday, October 28th and to express my support for Commissioner Chris Shelton of the Mica Kidd Island Fire District. He supports us and makes sure that we are properly trained and equipped so that we can return home to our families at the end of each call with all 10 fingers and toes. He works hard at his job and is one of the hardest working volunteers in our organization. He has done absolutely nothing wrong and it has been proven so. The group that is behind this cannot be allowed to speak for all 700 registered voters.

With that said I want to address our citizens. We have heard numerous times the past eight months how much you support us, love us and appreciate us. But lately we doubt this as your actions have spoken louder to us than your words. We are asking you to show your support to us by supporting and backing Chris Shelton, and do the right thing on November 4th and vote against the recall. A NO vote will show your support for us, your volunteer Firefighters and EMTs that serve you and your families endlessly at all hours of the day and night. Show our family that same respect and gratitude back. Vote NO on the recall.
