VOTE: Heed founders' wisdom

It appears our country eventually may fall into socialist control, the way it’s headed. People complain about over government control, but few get off their duffs and vote yet complain about all the excessive overreach of government into our lives.

Our Founding Fathers set up our government to be the agent of the people — not to manipulate and control the people. Sure there is a lot of voter fraud, but if more people vote hopefully that will ease the fraud. Government needs to be reduced in size to get it back to a more manageable size. Term limits need to limit time politicians can serve. It makes you wonder who’s really in control with more than 12,000 registered lobbyists in D.C. They say a fair tax will eliminate the IRS and simplify the U.S. tax code from more than 73,000 pages to 73 pages.
