Suzanne Marie Hite (Renzi), 66

| October 5, 2014 9:00 PM

Suzanne Marie Hite (Renzi) was born on Feb. 3, 1948, to Anthony and Angelina Renzi in Los Angeles, Calif. She grew up close to her large Italian family and graduated from Sylmar High School. Suzie married James W. Hite on Feb. 3, 1968.

They had three children together, Tony, Jim Jr. and Jennifer. In the mid-70s, the Hite family migrated to Hayden, Idaho. For more than 20 years Suzie helped run the family owned restaurant Papino's. She was known for her homemade Italian desserts, and for keeping all of her children (both natural and "adopted") in line.

She enjoyed camping, boating, singing, second-hand shopping and spending time with those she cared about. Suzie was a natural caregiver and opened her home and heart to many people over the years. She truly showed unconditional love to all she knew.

Suzie is survived by her sisters, Andrea and Cheryl; brothers John and Gary; sisters-in-law Nancy and Rhonda; son and daughter-in-law Tony and Tara; son and daughter-on-law Jim and Tina; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Dan; grandchildren Heathyr, Nick, Ashlee, Cody, Chase, Colton, Brady, Cora, Chloe and Alexis; five great-grandchildren (with two more on the way); and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with countless more "kids" and friends that became family over the years.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Lake City Community Church. There will be a potluck reception directly following the service at the church. We are putting together a memory board to see all the lives Suzie has touched. Please feel free to bring any copies of photos to add.

Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Medical Center, 101 W. Eighth Ave., Spokane, WA 99204. Visit Suzanne's online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
