Shirley Ann Boudreau, 78

Shirley received her Angel wings on Nov. 6, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones from all over the United States.

Shirley was born on Aug. 9, 1936, in Lyons, Kan., to C.F. "Buck" Prather and Bertie Marie Sturgis.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41-plus years, Charles H. Boudreau; three sisters, one brother, eight children (five sons, three daughters), 19 grandchildren and too many great-grandchildren to count as well as nephews and nieces.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to so very many that will miss her. Shirley's love for her family, extended family and friends was a never ending Love. She will be with all of our hearts Always and Forever.

Shirley had a love for all walks of life. She enjoyed planting gardens, flowers and trees of many sorts. Shirley also loved animals of all kinds. Her gentle ways drew her close to animals, and they enjoyed her love and kind, gentle ways. Shirley had a sweet little dog named "Cricket" and her cats that she loved so very much - they also will miss her gentle ways. Shirley's heart was so big; she loved so many. She had eight children by birth but also many adopted children along her way. She will be missed by all of us.

Shirley will be with all of us forever and always as she is The Wind beneath all our Wings. God bless you and may you rest in peace.

Viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Spirit Lake.
