KILLINGS: Kids in a different class

Children can’t be held to adult standard.

I could not agree more with Sholeh Patrick’s column suggesting juveniles should be prosecuted in the juvenile court system. It breaks my heart to see more and more kids tried as adults, and this latest shooting is no exception.

My husband used to tease our youngest daughter that her brain wasn’t developed and she needed us to help her make good decisions, but what he said in jest was based on studies he had read.
