| March 28, 2014 9:00 PM

BOISE (AP) - Police are searching for the suspect in an early-morning robbery of a Boise coffee shack.

A masked man walked up to the order window and demanded cash at about 5:10 a.m. Thursday, witnesses said.

The shop, located on Broadway Avenue near Linden Street, had just opened for the day.

After an employee handed over the money, the suspect left on foot.

He did not display a weapon, police said.

The suspect is described as a thin light-skinned man standing about 6-foot-1 or 6-foot-2.

He was wearing a black canvas coat, blue stocking cap, white gloves and a white bandanna over his face.

Police did not disclose how much money the robber got away with.

They are investigating whether the suspect is tied to other recent robberies in the area.
