• Keller Williams agents join Circle of Excellence

Six Keller Williams Realty Coeur d'Alene agents received the 2013 Circle of Excellence Award from the Coeur d'Alene Association of Realtors on Thursday at the Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn. Barbara Swehosky, Janna Scharf, Mercile Goes, Nancy White, Janice Harvey and T.J. Barnhart were acknowledged for excellence in education, community service and sales production.

Each year the Coeur d'Alene Association of Realtors honors a select group of real estate professionals who have achieved excellence in their total sales volume, commitment to community service and volunteerism, as well as professional development and education.

• Club Tan has new owners, open 7 days a week

Club Tan of Hayden announced it is now under new ownership and is open seven days a week. Business hours at the store at 8118 N. Government Way are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.

• Trindera Engineering promotes Barker to principal

Trindera Engineering, an electrical and control systems engineering firm with offices in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, announced the promotion of Barbara Barker to the position of principal.

Barker joined Trindera Engineering in 2012 as a lighting consultant with more than 25 years of experience in lighting design. During her time at Trindera, she has served as a project manager on a variety of successful projects. Barker has helped position Trindera as a preferred provider in the commercial, municipal, industrial, and automation markets.

In her position as principal, Barker will manage Trindera's commercial group, focusing on design projects for office spaces, retail, K-12 education, higher education, medical facilities, community buildings and other commercial spaces. She is a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council, and holds her lighting certification.
