CHILD PORN: Sin is the bottom line

| March 21, 2014 9:00 PM

Mary Budd separated the sin of watching child porn from the sin of actively engaging in the act of sex with a child, not by saying they were not both wrong, but by attempting to distinguish the degree of wrong between the two sins.

George Silva refers to the sin of child porn as being “evil” as if to distinguish between some sins as being evil, and what — some sins being not evil, or less evil? He goes on to say that evil must be stomped out, but offers no suggestions as to how that might be accomplished (clue: Ungodly men have been attempting to stomp out evil for a couple of years now, George).

Chris Sanders thinks the answer is to eliminate the demand for illicit sex via the “professional helpers,” but doesn’t say anything about eliminating the desire for elicit sex which leads to and fuels the demand. Nor does he explain why the professional helpers keep getting richer and richer, while the demand for illicit sex keeps getting greater and greater. Can’t see the nexus here, huh Chris?

“Do you (and all of you) not know that the UNRIGHTEOUS (those who still practice any kind of willful sin) will not inherit the Kingdom of God” (will not be saved), 1st Cor. 6:9. “We know that whosoever is born of God does not sin (continue to practice willful sin of any kind), but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him,” 1st John 5:17. “He that commits sin (continues to practice sin of any kind) is of the devil because the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil (sin), 1st John 3:8.

Sin is the problem here, folks, it’s not just certain sins, and until society begins to understand that, it will always be an ever worsening problem in every area of life. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the only real solution to the problem of sin, but I have yet to find a church in this society that clearly explains this connection in detail. The churches have failed in this mission for 2,000 years now. I can explain it in detail, but I find it a waste of time to attempt to do so with those who are not genuinely seeking such an explanation.
