Daniel D. Sims, 55

Daniel D. Sims, 55, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away on June 8, 2014. 

He was born September 17, 1958, in Sacramento, Calif., to Ben and Louise Sims. 

The family moved to Idaho in 1972, where Dan attended St. Maries High School, in St. Maries, Idaho, graduating in 1976. He worked over 35 years in the timber industry.

Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and his many friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his sister, Diane. He is survived by his parents; wife, Karen; daughter, Kari; son, Ben; grandson, Rhoyn (“Buttons”), and sister, Leta.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, June 14, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, Idaho. A private family graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Please sign Dan’s guest registry, and view his online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com
