Police seek information on Walmart burglary suspects

| January 30, 2014 8:00 PM

The Post Falls Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying two suspects who recently burglarized both Walmarts in Post Falls.

In the early morning on Jan. 12, the suspects stole a backpack and laptop computer from the Walmart on Mullan Avenue. The suspect wearing a beanie took the backpack from the shelf, put the laptop in the backpack and exited the store where the other suspect was waiting in the vehicle.

The suspects then went to the Walmart on Pointe Parkway near Cabela's and stole two sets of car speakers, a subwoofer and two 50-inch LED smart TVs. This time both suspects entered the store and selected items.

Then one of the suspects exited the store and drove a truck around to the emergency exit, while the other suspect exited with two shopping carts containing the stolen property.

The truck is a gray, early 2000 Chevy/GMC four-door pickup. It has side tool boxes and a metal contractor's ladder rack on top.
