WOLVES: Coyotes not in same class

Just have had some “think time” lately in regard to contests, to see how many wolves and coyotes can be targeted in the same day.
It is likely some “intelligent” people decided to go to Canada in the mid-1990s to get wolves into the Montana ecosystem. That turned into a “fiasco decision!”
Fine, eliminate wolves for whatever reason, but why must the poor coyote’s fate be for them to pass away also? The coyotes kill gophers and mice in the fields, and provide better crops for the farmer.
They may some day regret their “too quick” decision they made on “coyote kill.” If I see a coyote in the woods, I’ll yell for him to go to another state, where he may not have to die “just for a contest.”
