Vera Lorraine Gregg McKinney, 78

Vera Lorraine (Gregg) McKinney, 78, resident of Hayden, ID passed away at her home on Feb. 5, 2014.

Vera was born on Aug. 16, 1935, in Grangeville, ID to John and Gladys (Nelson) Gregg. She married Ralph A. McKinney on Aug. 21, 1954, in Moscow, ID and they had two sons. She was a counter agent for West Coast Airlines in Lewiston, ID and a member of the Baptist Church.

Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 2006; her parents, John and Gladys; one sister, Dolly Gregg; and one brother, John "Sonny" Gregg. She is survived by her two sons: Ralph McKinney of Hayden, ID, and David McKinney of Arizona; six sisters: Pauline Carey, Esther Morrow, Hope Weholt, Karen Winkler, Connie Riddle, and Carolyn Anderson; one brother, Marvin Gregg; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
