HOA: Dive into community project
Let me introduce myself. I am Neil Krause, the president of the Camden Place Home Owners Association in Post Falls.
Upon unanimous vote, the board members have agreed to volunteer their time to The Salvation Army this holiday season. Along with a staff member of Association Services Inc., (our guiding light to all things HOA related) we will be “Ringing The Bell” at Cabela’s in Post Falls on Dec. 20.
The Salvation Army was selected because of the outstanding efforts they make, not only at this time of the year, but all yearlong to help people in need. Money collected from ringing the bell is used to further their efforts in providing food, rent, clothing and scholarships for kids to go to camp, just to name a few. I, personally, have witnessed their efforts helping people pay rent, acquire food, clothing and shelter. They do amazing things with the donations they receive.
The board members of Camden Place HOA believe this should be a community project. We have begun to solicit the participation of residents of our neighborhood as well. After all, we believe Camden Place means community. What better way to give a lot with just a little time?
The Camden Place HOA board would also like to extend a challenge to all other HOA board members and HOA residents in the area to contact The Salvation Army at www.kroccda.org/volunteer.html to do your part in “Ringing the Bell.”
