Police investigate pharmacy robbery

Coeur d'Alene Police responded at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to a report of a robbery at the Shopko Pharmacy at 217 W. Ironwood Drive.

Witnesses said a man wearing a ski mask approached a pharmacy employee, claimed he had a gun and demanded prescription medication. He grabbed the medication and fled north on foot through the parking lot, police reported.

The suspect is a white male, age 20-30, who is 5-foot-11 with acne scars on his face. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black ski mask and gray sweats, police reported.
