Generations of Dentistry

A family tradition is passing to the next generation.

Jack Fullwiler, D.D.S, who has practiced dentistry in Coeur d'Alene for 34 years, said his stepson, Justin Rader, D.D.S, has purchased the business. Fullwiler said he plans to continue to work in the practice part-time.

The change continues a family tradition of dentistry. Fullwiler's father, Richard Fullwiler, began working as a dentist in 1951 in Coeur d'Alene. Rader's great-grandfather, John Butler, was a dentist who started his career in 1917 in Pennsylvania.

"I am very impressed with Dr. Rader and his skills, experience and education," Jack Fullwiler said. "He's an excellent dentist with great empathy for his patients. He brings the latest advancements, including a focus on dentistry as a vital aspect of a person's overall physical well-being."

A graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, Rader has worked as dental director of Heritage Health in Coeur d'Alene. He is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq, and has a wife and two young children.

"I am honored to be able to provide care for Doctor Jack's patients and my new ones," Rader said. "I can promise we will continue to combine great care with high-level skills and technology."

Rader plans to change the practice's name to Generations Dental to reflect the transition.
