HONESTY: Another shining example
On April 18 I was running errands. After shopping for groceries I stopped to fill my car with gas, paid and then tucked my credit card into my pocket. On to Staples and then home. The credit card wasn’t in my pocket, and I frantically searched the dark interior of my car, dumped all contents from my purse, and was ready to call my bank and tell them I’d lost the card. My phone rang. It was the Wells Fargo branch at the corner of 95 and Ironwood. Someone had found my card outside Staples and turned it in to the bank.
Our world is inundated with news of robberies, violence, hatred, dishonesty and disrespect. Yet, something as heartwarming as this person’s kindness overshadows all that.
Thank you, unknown friend. You represent all that is good and honest in our community.
