Man sought for 4 counts of battery

| April 16, 2014 5:00 AM

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from anyone that may know the whereabouts of Terry Andrew Clark, 25, Coeur d’Alene.

According to the KCSO, Clark was attending a large outdoor party early Saturday in the area of Old Highway 95 and Brunner Road south of Athol. During the party, and for an unknown reason, Clark became violent with other party goers.

When deputies responded, most of the attendees had left the area, including Clark, who reportedly fled the area on foot.

Witnesses and the victims reported that Clark began hitting people with a handgun. Four victims were taken to Kootenai Health for treatment.

“All the victims had significant facial injuries that were consistent with the allegations that they were assaulted with an impact-type weapon,” a KCSO press release states.

A firearm, described by some of the witnesses, was recovered and is being held by the KCSO. Due to the nature of the offense and ongoing investigation, its description is not being made public now nor are the victims' names being released.

Detectives have obtained a felony warrant for Clark’s arrest for four counts of aggravated battery. Clark may have fled to the Newport, Wash., area. He also may be driving either a black 1996 Cadillac Eldorado (Idaho license plate number K401606) or a 1998 red Pontiac Grand Am (K545681).

Anyone with information on Clark’s whereabouts is asked to contact the KCSO at 446-1300.

Due to Clark’s recent violent behavior, if anyone sees him, do not approach him and instead contact law enforcement. Additionally, any other victims or witnesses that have not been in contact with law enforcement are also encouraged to contact the KCSO.

Clark was booked into the Kootenai County jail 17 times from 2008 to 2012, including for battery, possession of drug paraphernalia, malicious injury to property and DUI.
