Saturday, March 22

* Coeur d'Alene police responded to a report that a vehicle's back passenger window was broken by thieves, who stole two iPods.

* Coeur d'Alene police responded to a report that a vehicle's back passenger window was broken by thieves, who stole a laptop and a Dewalt construction radio.

Sunday, March 23

* A woman reported that the left rear window of her vehicle was smashed and someone stole her daughter's purse from it.

* A man staying at the Quality Inn and Suites in Coeur d'Alene reported that someone broke the right rear window of his vehicle. The culprit did not steal anything, but left a folding Buck knife on the back seat.

Monday, March 24

* A man in a car was pulled over after another motorist observed him hit a woman in the car. Told the officer that the two were "just playing slug-bug."

Tuesday, March 25

* Police responded to a report that someone had broken into a small wooden shed at the American Legion baseball field. When the officers arrived, they were notified that nothing was missing from the shed.

* A Red Robin employee told police that when she arrived at work, she noticed a male and a female loitering in the parking lot. The woman went into the restaurant and when she returned to her vehicle 15 minutes later, her window was smashed and her purse had been stolen.

* Police attempted to remove a brown poodle from the freeway.

* A woman called police and told them that the iced tea she purchased from a gas station "tasted like it had alcohol in it."

Thursday, March 27

* Coeur d'Alene man who told police he left his window rolled down because he was smoking cigarettes had $90 stolen from his vehicle.

Friday, March 28

* A male was observed urinating in front of a drive-through pharmacy.
