WRITER: Words were too harsh

I wish to apologize to your readers for the inappropriate and harsh language used in my Letter to the Editor published Sept. 25. A more appropriate final paragraph should have read:

I believe Obama to be dangerous to our country and our freedoms. I believe he has little appreciation for our history, culture and values. However, we can overcome him easier than we can overcome an electorate that would make such a man our president.

I apologize.
