Bill and Judy Drake
50th Anniversary
Bill and Judy Drake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family Bill, Joy, Emily, Austin and Jeff Drake.
At a later date they will celebrate with a European cruise. The couple were married Aug. 31, 1963, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Coeur d'Alene.
William and Carol Valente
50th Anniversary
William and Carol Valente, of Post Falls, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Idaho natives, they were married on Sept. 14, 1963, in Coeur d'Alene.
They have three children: one daughter, Lynne (Wayne) Hammond; and two sons, Michael (Erin) Valente and Mark Valente. They have six grandchildren, Bethany, Taylor, Dakota, Trystan, Trace and Gabrielle; and one great-grandchild Trey.

Edna Leistner
105th Birthday
Edna Leistner turned 105 on Aug. 17, 2013. She was born Aug. 17, 1908.
Edna's children are son Merle Leistner and daughter Janis Linnell. She has six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She celebrated her birthday with a dinner at her daughter's home in French Gulch. She lives at Emeritus in Coeur d'Alene.
Julia Wirth
96th Birthday
Julia Wirth turned 96 on July 31, 2013.
Sitting with her is her granddaughter, Katie Baker and great-granddaughter Khloe Montgomery. The oldest to the youngest in the family.

Isaac James Putman was born at 12:12 p.m. Sept. 5, 2013, to Kiela and Christian Putman of Coeur d'Alene. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Mike Boruvka and Diane Harbour. Paternal grandparents are Jim and Lori Putman.
Brooklynn Loree Davis was born at 2:23 a.m. Sept. 11, 2013, to Rachel and Brad Davis of Rathdrum. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Sister is Calli. Maternal grandmother is Carol Kelly of Hayden. Paternal grandparents are Laurie Davis of Rathdrum, Gary Davis of Rathdrum, and Mickey and Lonnie Purcell of Chattaroy, Wash.
Jax Michael Green and Eli Kevin Green were born Sept. 13, 2013, to Maren (Jorgensen) and Cody Green of Post Falls, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene. Jax weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces Eli weighed 5 pounds 14 ounces.
