WARMING: A tale of two extremes

| September 15, 2013 9:49 PM

The “man-made” global warming nuts don’t like people like me. I have a memory.

I remember back in the early ’70s, reading an article in a science magazine about global cooling. The article said that if the cooling continued there would be icebergs as far south as Manhattan. The cause? Man was burning too much fossil fuel and the particles from this was not letting the sun’s warming reach the Earth.

Then in the early ’90s I read where the Earth was going into global warming and the cause? Man was burning too much fossil fuel and the particles from this were holding the sun’s warmth and not letting the Earth cool in the night and if things continued, all the ice would melt and Manhattan would flood. I don’t know why they keep picking on Manhattan.

If you look back in history, about every 20 to 30 years man says the Earth is either going into global warming or cooling and we are doomed. Just think how warm the Earth was when Greenland was being farmed? Did the ice melt then and flood Manhattan?

So I ask John Ritterbach, who does he believe: Cliff Harris or Al Gore?
