DEMOCRACY: Don't miss this meeting

Last week, President Obama proclaimed in a speech that we are “the oldest Constitutional Democracy.” He went on to use the term “Constitutional Democracy” again in the speech. This speech was prepared and read by the president, not ad-libbed.

If what he said is true, I will await the national referendum to vote on how many Tomahawk missiles to use, vote on what day to use them and vote on the target list. Democracy is great!

I encourage our president and other democracy lovers to come to Hayden Library on Constitution Day, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 to discuss the original intent of the Constitution and Levin’s new book, “the Liberty Amendments.” Free and open to the public.
