SHOOTING: Another side of the story

Scene, Coeur d’Alene police officer returns home after his shift. He enters through the kitchen door and greets his wife. She asks how his day was , and he answers her that it was terrific. She asks, “What did you do to make your day so terrific?” and he tells her that he prevented a man from committing suicide. She then asks, “Did you talk him out of it?” and he answers, “No, I shot him.”
