Poll: Big support for higher minimum wage

Readers of cdapress.com were asked if Idaho should raise its minimum wage.

What they said should be good news to those now circulating petitions to raise the state's minimum wage from $7.25 to $9.80 an hour in incremental steps over three years.

In the cdapress.com poll, 70 percent — 1,677 online readers — support raising the minimum wage, while 30 percent — 718 votes — oppose it.
