VOTE: Three who deserve support

This past summer, a group of citizens stood up to the local politicians and pushed to have our voices heard via the Recall Movement. These people were not intimidated nor did they back down to name calling and idle threats. They walked the neighborhoods informing you and collecting over 5,000 signatures in an attempt to return our local government to all of us.

Having already experienced political turmoil and unpleasantries in the past several years, Souza, Hebert and Adam, among many others, stepped up to the challenge out of sincere concern for the future of our community.

These three dedicated people are now seeking elective office in order that they may continue to listen to us and work both with and for us. I worked side by side with Mary, Sharon and Noel during the Recall process and can personally attest to their hard work and dedication to our community.

When we needed them to speak out for us, they were there. Now they ask you to speak out by casting your votes for them. Your votes for these three outstanding people will insure you will be heard and that our City will be managed by talented people of high integrity.

Remember, they were there for us. Now it is our turn to be there for them and the future of our community. Remember the past few years. Let’s not fall into voter apathy again and wind up with a rerun of prior unpleasantries.
