MILLER: A positive voice for community

| October 16, 2013 9:00 PM

As a current owner of several properties and a small business in the city of Coeur d’Alene, I am keenly aware of how lucky we have been to have honest, knowledgeable and concerned people running our city government. As a former director of Downtown CDA, I know the challenges involved in helping businesses succeed. Some very forward-thinking individuals have spearheaded projects, beginning 24 years ago with the physical revitalization of downtown.

This long-term planning is now culminating with the transformation of an “old, tired park” into a magnificent place for people of all ages to enjoy! Our beautiful library, the Kroc Center, Riverstone and Midtown were all part of making this community healthy and usable for all of its citizens. Now it’s time to move on to other areas very much in need of help (like east Sherman Avenue). This just can’t be done with naysayers running our city government, the very people who opposed all of this now want us to trust them to build our future.

I have known Kiki Miller in both business and community endeavors. You want her on your council as she is always the one leaning toward the positive. She is an independent thinker, a good listener, a smart investor and she has proven her love for this city with her involvement many times over.

We want Kiki Miller on our City Council. We NEED Kiki Miller on our City Council!
