ABORTION: Syria has nothing on us

| October 2, 2013 9:00 PM

Recently the news emphasized the scorn of the leaders of the USA about the “murder” (the president’s word) and “slaughter” (Sec. of State Kerry’s word) to describe what happened to 400 innocent children from the gas attack in Syria. I agree that this is a very sad situation.

However, many of these same leaders strongly support the “murder” and “slaughter” of the most innocent and vulnerable (the unborn and partially born) children in our own country.

Therefore can I conclude that the mistake made by Assad & Co. in Syria is simply this? They forgot to first make it legal to kill children in their country like the USA did in 1973. We have slaughtered, not 400, but more than 50 million in our country since Roe vs. Wade was passed in 1973, and it’s all because its legal.

Obviously, the term “hypocrisy” has no meaningful application here.
