| November 29, 2013 8:00 PM

KELLOGG - Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg will celebrate winter with a debut of Warren Miller's Ticket to Ride tonight at 7.

Elevated Strategies is hosting the event to raise money for five ski racing programs in the region. Founder and CEO of Elevated Strategies, Leah Pierce, grew up ski racing and developed a lifelong love for the sport.

"We look forward to bringing the Warren Miller premiere to the Silver Valley for a second consecutive year, and thank the local community, tourists and sponsors for making this premiere possible," a press release states.

The newest chapter in the legendary film series, Ticket to Ride will take filmgoers on an action-packed journey with the world's best skiers and snowboarders. Witness athletes at their career-best, and discover the paths that put them at the top of the steepest peaks.

Attendees will experience the immense energy of the world's most sought-after destinations, and discover the epicenter of big lines in Alaska, Montana's Big Sky Country and the exotic winter playgrounds of Kazakhstan, Iceland and Greenland. The trams and trains in Switzerland will climb to Mt. Eiger, as the fishing boats in Norway carry you to the islands of lesund. Once again, winter begins with Warren Miller, and it's time to get your Ticket to Ride.

Local sponsors have also contributed to make this effort possible and will be on location at the premiere to meet the attendees. Silver Mountain, Dave Smith Motors, Physio One, Reel Cameras and Twin City Furniture are gold-level sponsors. Wallace Brewing and North Idaho Mountain Brewery are also gold-level sponsors and will have a beer featured on tap during the premiere.

Tickets are available online at www.SilverMtPremiere.com and in the store at Silver Mountain Sports. Tickets are limited.

Advance tickets online are $15 and $12 for ages 12 and under. Prices increase at the door.
