Harry P. Kellas, 61

Harry P. Kellas, 61, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away, Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at his home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at St. John Orthodox Church, 4718 E. Horsehaven Ave., Post Falls, Idaho, which Harry was a member of. Father Bazel and Father Sapika will be officiating. Memorial can be made to either church — Holy Trinity or St. John Orthodox.

Harry was born Dec. 20, 1951, in Coeur d’Alene to Peter and Georgia Kellas. He graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1970 and from the University of Idaho in 1975, with a degree in mechanical engineering.

Harry was employed as a mechanical engineer and worked on many innovative projects in his region. He enjoyed his work and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He was an avid woodworker and car enthusiast, and was involved in several local auto clubs over the years. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.

Harry is survived by his mother, Georgia Kellas of Coeur d’Alene; and his daughter, Janna Williamson of Seattle, Wash.; one grandchild, Cole Williamson of Seattle; a brother, Tom Kellas; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
