Lauretta Jane Nester/Dingler, 94

Mom was born June 10, 1919, in Visalia, Calif. She graduated Class of 1939 — Visalia Union High School. Married my father, Elton Leon Dingler, Feb. 13, 1943. Five years later gave birth to my sister, Lea Mae and three and a half years later gave birth to me, Deborah Irene.

California was the state Mom lived most her life, but while vacationing in Idaho she found beauty and peace. She moved to her new home in 1989, where she made many friends and became part of various charitable groups such as Gems, Nit Wits and Grandmothers of Idaho.

Mom loved music, painting and writing poems. This is the last poem she wrote while on her journey…
